Taylor County authorities are recommending a charge of hit and run against a Curtiss man.
Deputies found the body of 27-year-old Titus Kottke lying in a pool of blood in the Township of Holway the morning of October 31st.
An autopsy revealed Kottke had suffered injuries consistent with being hit by a vehicle.
Investigators developed 28-year-old Paul J. Schmeiser as a suspect and he was taken into custody Wednesday.
They say Schmeiser is cooperating after the execution of several search warrants.
