Emergency responders in Milwaukee have found one person dead inside an apartment that burned early Tuesday.
Fire crews were called to the location just before 1:00 a-m Tuesday.
The victim was identified as 45-year-old Edwin Lund.
The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner’s Office says Lund died of smoke inhalation.
His wife was taken to St. Mary’s Hospital for treatment.
Investigators say the fatal fire started from a space heater in the apartment’s living room.
Authorities say there were what they called “hoarder-like conditions” inside the apartment.
