Gas prices continue their steady decline in Eastern Wisconsin.
In fact, the prices fell three cents in Manitowoc County compared to last week, which puts the average price per gallon of fuel under $3.00 first the first time in months.
The cost on gas station signs also fell a penny in Sheboygan and Calumet Counties, where the average price now sits at $3.06 and $2.92 respectively.
The largest drop was reported in both Outagamie and Brown Counties, where the average price fell five cents to $2.86 and $2.91 respectively.
Things stayed the same in Kewaunee County, where they average $2.96 per gallon, but the price did go up two cents in Door County.
They are now at $3.13 per gallon.
The state average also fell below the three-dollar threshold with a 4-cent decline.
The state average is now at $2.98, while the national average fell 3 cents to $3.30.
