One person had to be taken to a local hospital following a kitchen fire over the weekend.
The Green Bay Metro Fire Department was called to the home in the 1900 block of Deckner Avenue by the homeowners, who said the home filled with smoke after the fire in the kitchen.
By the time crews arrived on the scene, the fire was out, and the smoke had cleared, however two residents had to be treated for smoke inhalation.
One of those individuals had to be transported to a local hospital for additional treatment.
The fire caused an estimated $30,000 in damage, and since no one was home when it started, the cause is still under investigation.
