The National Weather Service reports Madison has set a record for the warmest December 15th in its history.
The temperature gauge hit 68 degrees yesterday.
The previous high temperature for the date was 65 degrees set in 2012.
If you were one of the people enjoying the warmth while wearing shorts or a t-shirt, that fun is over. These days the high temperature will struggle to reach the high 30s.
