
Badger’s middle blocker Dana Rettke has been named a first-team All-American for the fifth time.
The six-foot-eight Illinois native has been honored by the American Volleyball Coaches Association just released.
She was joined on the first team by senior setter Sydney Hilley.
Libero Lauren Barnes was named to the second team.
The A-V-C-A national Player of the Year will be announced Friday.
There’s still some business to conduct before that.
The Badgers put their 29-and-3 record on the line today (December 16th) at 6:00 p-m against the undefeated and number-one ranked Louisville Cardinals in the N-C-A-A semifinals.
The winner of that match plays Saturday for the national title.
