The Rock County Medical Examiner’s Office has identified last week’s fatal shooting victim in the Town of Beloit.
17-old Byron Broomfield Junior of Rockford was one of six people shot last Thursday during a dispute.
Investigators say one person was taken into custody and is being held on unrelated charges.
They say the people involved in the incident ranged in age from 17 to 23 years old.
Authorities in Rock County say charges related to the shooting may be filed after the investigation is completed.
