Two students at Green Bay Preble High School learned the hard way that some things just aren’t funny.
The Green Bay Police Department has arrested two students, aged 16 and 15, after they admitted to posting a school shooting threat Sunday night on Instagram.
Officers went to the school yesterday morning, to investigate the threat, and two students came forward to admit their fault.
They told police that they thought it would be funny, and “wanted to see what people’s reactions would be.”
While there never was an attempt to shoot up the school, the Green Bay Police Department is seeking to charge the teens with Terrorist Threats.
The Police Department thanked the School District for their cooperation with the investigation, while the district thanked the police for taking the threat seriously.
