The Manitowoc Police Department is welcoming in a new officer.
K9 Mali is a four-month-old Bernedoodle and will be helping department employees with their job-related stress.
The future plans for the black and white puppy will be to assist with child victims and community outreach opportunities.
K9 Mali joins fellow K9 Patrol Officers Major and Neko, who enlisted in 2015 and 2017 respectively.
In a post on Facebook, the Department thanked Brenda Wilz at Wolf River Bernedoodles for finding Mali, who they call “the perfect puppy for us.”
