The Calumet, Manitowoc, and Sheboygan County Farm Service Agency (FSA) offices are currently searching for minority producers interested in serving as an advisor to the FSA County Committees.
Tom Schneider, Director of the FSA Offices in Chilton, Manitowoc, and Plymouth explained in a news release that “The persons selected to serve as an advisor will be instrumental in increasing the awareness and participation in FSA activities, including elections.”
Other duties for these individuals include attending meetings, participating in all deliberations, and performing special duties at the County Committee’s request among others.
Appointments are for a 12-month period, effective March 1st, and nominations should be submitted by January 5th.
