For the second time in a month, another Sheboygan County Board member has stepped down.
Jacob Immel vacated his seat representing District 18 because he moved out of the District, which is also why District 3 Supervisor Vicky Schneider stepped down in late November.
Residents of District 18 that wish to serve on the Board through the end of Immel’s term should apply by no later than 5:00 PM on December 29th.
This term would only last until April when the seat will be on the election ballot.
The position comes with a base annual salary of $2,100 plus mileage reimbursement and a per diem paid for County Board and committee meetings.
Applicants will have to send a letter of interest and brief resume to County Board Chairman Vern Koch, Sheboygan County Administration Building, 508 New York Avenue Room 311.
Any questions can be directed to the Chairman at 920-459-3103.
