Three summer camps in Sheboygan County will be the beneficiary of funds from the American Rescue Plan Act.
The State recently announced a $140 million investment into the support of Wisconsin’s tourism and entertainment industries.
Among the recipients of a share of that money were the Friends of Camp Anokijig in Plymouth, Camp Evergreen in Sheboygan and the Manitou Council of the Girls Scouts, which is also based in Sheboygan.
Each of these organizations will receive $50,000 to help their programs, which is a portion of the $1.8 million that is going to camps throughout the state.
