After two State Patrol cruisers were struck in the past week, the state law enforcement organization is reminding drivers to move over for police vehicles.
One of the incidents occurred Monday in Dane County when a semi sideswiped a cruiser because they didn’t move out of the right lane as a Trooper was pulled over.
The second incident occurred Wednesday morning in Winnebago County, and saw a vehicle slide into a cruiser as they were assisting another vehicle involved in a crash.
No injuries were reported in either case.
In a post on Facebook, the State Patrol reminded drivers to “slow down for emergency vehicles and vehicles stopped on the shoulder.”
