Sheboygan County will be getting some money from the State DOT.
Governor Evers and the DOT recently announced that about $4 million in transportation grants were to be given out to communities around the state, and Sheboygan County made the cut.
They will actually receive two grants.
The first will provide just over $26,000 for volunteer drivers on busses that transport people to medical appointments, work, or school.
The second consists of nearly $61,000, which will go toward the replacement of one medium-sized bus that helps senior citizens and the disabled.
