
Redshirt freshman Oso Ighodaro blocked a shot as the final second was ticking off the clock in Marquette’s 64-63 victory at Kansas State Wednesday night.
The non-conference game in Manhattan, Kansas was close all the way from the opening tip.
Kam Jones led the Golden Eagles with 15 points and Justin Lewis had 14, to go with nine rebounds.
The win improves the Golden Eagles’ record to 8-and-2 before returning home Saturday to host number-four U-C-L-A at the Fiserv Forum.
