Badgers prized recruit Myles Burkett has been named the state’s high school football Player of the Year by the Associated Press.
Burkett threw for more than 34 hundred yards, 36 touchdowns, and completed 71 percent of his passes.
He led the Franklin Sabers to a 38-17 win over Sun Prairie in the Division One state championship game.
Burkett is a member of the Wisconsin recruiting class of 2022.
