A short section of Sheboygan’s Calumet Drive/Highway 42 closed over the weekend as crews began a repair project.
The DOT and Sheboygan City Engineer released a statement late last week, which revealed that the section of the roadway between North 15th Street and Geele Avenue was to close starting at Midnight last night so crews could begin the repair of the storm sewer.
Northbound traffic is being detoured onto North 15th Street to Geele Avenue, while one lane of southbound traffic will remain open.
The project is expected to be completed by 11:00 PM on Wednesday.
