Construction of a new state-of-the-art esports arena is complete and the space is now open to students at Lakeshore Technical College.
Students can play at no cost for fun or try out for competitive teams.
The college is a member of the National Association of Collegiate Esports (NACE), the largest member association of college and university-sponsored esports programs in the country.
LTC teams will compete in the National Esports Collegiate Conference (NECC).
More than 100 colleges and universities across the country compete in the NECC.
The new 900-square-foot arena boasts ultramodern lighting features 11 gaming stations and two gaming consoles, all with hi-tech computers, monitors, headsets, keyboards, and mice.
