Employees at Schneider National had to be evacuated due to a small fire yesterday.
Fire crews were called to the office building located in the 3000 block of Packerland Drive in Green Bay just before 11:00 AM after an employee reported flames in the ceiling.
Maintenance staff was able to subdue the fire on the west side of the building with a fire extinguisher, while fire crews determined that the blaze started in a fan motor above the ceiling.
There were no injuries reported, and the damage was contained to the affected unit.
The entire situation was resolved in roughly half an hour.
