Marquette will face a strong Dayton team in the first round of the N-C-A-A Volleyball Tournament this afternoon (December 2nd).
The match starts at 3:30 p-m in West Lafayette, Indiana, as Purdue is hosting the action.
The Flyers hold the edge in all-time meetings against Marquette, but the Golden Eagles have won the last three.
Marquette swept Dayton two years ago in the post-season.
The Eagles are expecting to go without standout Hope Werch who suffered a knee injury in the second-to-last match of the regular season.
Three of Dayton’s five losses came against top-ranked opponents like number-three Kentucky and twice against number-two Wisconsin.
