The 50-year-old woman charged with tasing a student at Nathan Hale High School last month says she’s “not an animal.”
Kotelia Scott faces one felony count of child abuse and misdemeanor bail jumping.
Scott says she got eight calls from her 15-year-old niece on November 16th saying she was being followed in the school’s hallways and was afraid.
Another student let Scott and Danielle Lesueur in through a locked door, bypassing security.
Scott says her niece had a bloody face and a broken nose, but she says she didn’t come to the school intending to attack children.
She has a court appearance scheduled for today (December 1st) while LeSueur is being sought by authorities.
