A Manitowoc man arrested on domestic abuse allegations was reportedly out on bail for unrelated charges in Brown and Manitowoc Counties.
Officers with the Manitowoc Police Department went to a residence in the 1600 block of South 14th Street yesterday (November 30th) to speak with the victim.
The woman explained that she and her 37-year-old boyfriend had gotten into an argument the day before, but the argument escalated.
According to police reports, the man shoved the victim into a closet, which caused her pain.
The suspect denied pushing the woman but was arrested on charges of Battery with a Domestic Violence Enhancer, and two counts of Bail Jumping, one Felony, and one Misdemeanor.
The man had been previously arrested on charges of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Carrying a Concealed Weapon in Brown County in April of this year, and Battery by Prisoners in Manitowoc County in May.
He was released on a signature bond in both prior cases.
