A Green Bay man has been convicted on credit card fraud charges.
28-year-old Brandon Washington was found guilty due to a no-contest plea on 13 counts of fraud.
The investigation began when two customers at the Buffalo Wild Wings in Ashwaubenon were informed that there was a suspicious purchase made on their credit cards.
A waitress, who had credit card fraud complaints filed against her already, told police that Washington would pay her for the information on the customer’s cards.
A search of Washington’s home uncovered 1,000 blank checks, a credit card skimmer, and a variety of cards. Investigators also found text messages between the two confirming their agreement.
Washington is due back in court on December 17th for his sentencing.
