Felony election fraud charges have been filed against a 40-year-old man in Fond du Lac County.
Anthony J. Van Egtern is accused of voting last November despite the fact he was on parole for a felony conviction.
District Attorney Eric Toney says Van Egtern is the second person in the county charged with voting illegally during the presidential election.
Toney says the prosecutions don’t mean the election was stolen.
Van Egten was convicted on felony drug charges three years ago.
That made him ineligible to cast a ballot.
If convicted, he could be sentenced to 3.5 years in prison.
