The two individuals behind the creation and eventual enacting of Dillon’s Law are now looking to expand its reach.
Under the current law, anyone is allowed to undergo training to administer a device such as an EpiPen in order to help someone suffering from anaphylaxis, which is what claimed the life of 18-year-old Mishicot resident Dillon Mueller.
Now, Dillon’s parents are looking to make it so pharmacists can give these life-saving tools to individuals who have completed the course.
The courses created by the first edition of Dillons Law have already saved seven lives, according to Angel and George Mueller, and this expansion is expected to make it even easier to save a life.
