The Brewers have chosen Rowdy Tellez over Daniel Vogelbach for first base.
The team announced Vogelbach had been non-tendered at Tuesday’s deadline, along with pitcher John Curtiss.
Milwaukee signed infielder Jace Peterson to a one-year contract and added left-handed pitcher Rex Brothers on a minor league deal.
Vogelbach had been outstanding after his arrival in 2020, but he tailed off to a .219 average this past season.
As the C-B-A was expiring, the Brewers have 36 players on their 40-man roster.
