The Waukesha County district attorney has filed the expected sixth homicide charge against Darrell Brooks, the man accused of driving into last week’s Waukesha Christmas Parade.
The D-A amended the criminal complaint Monday.
The move had been expected ever since eight-year-old Jackson Sparks died at Wisconsin Children’s hospital of the injuries he suffered during the incident.
More than 60 people were injured.
So far, prosecutors have only filed charges in the deaths they say Brooks’ actions caused.
