The 30-year-old man accused of killing his former girlfriend in Oneida County says he wants a new attorney.
Christopher Terrell Anderson has gone on the record twice in the last two weeks saying he wants someone else to defend him.
Anderson is charged with first-degree intentional homicide in the death last summer of Hannah Miller.
Her body was found along a road in Oneida County.
Anderson would face a mandatory sentence of life in prison if he is convicted on the top count.
He was the subject of a multi-state manhunt earlier this year before he was caught near Chicago.
