A duo from Green Bay has been arrested on drug charges after fleeing from police in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula.
Reports say that Delta County Deputies had attempted to pull a vehicle over on South Lincoln Road in Escanaba at around 8:20 PM.
The vehicle containing a 23-year-old man and an 18-year-old female fled from authorities and threw items out of the window in an attempt to slow down authorities.
Menominee County Deputies were able to deflate three of the vehicle’s tires with “stop sticks”, and the driver eventually lost control and crashed.
The man was charged with Fleeing and Eluding, as well as Possession of Methamphetamine, while the woman was charged with Possession of Methamphetamine, and two counts of Obstructing Justice.
