Gas prices may not have changed much in most area counties, but there was a significant drop in two.
According to the AAA Fuel Gauge Report, Manitowoc and Sheboygan County motorists are paying the same at the pump as they were last week, averaging $3.10 and $3.09 respectively.
However, the price plummeted in Calumet County.
Their average price per gallon of fuel fell seven cents to $3.03, while Brown County Fuel prices declined four cents to $3.02.
There was also a two-cent decline in Kewaunee and Door Counties, where the average price now sits at $3.10 and $3.20 respectively, while Outagamie County saw a one-cent decline dip to $3.02.
The state and national averages also dropped one cent to $3.10 and $3.30 respectively.
While the price did not change this week in Manitowoc County, it has declined slightly from its peak in mid-November, when the average gallon of fuel cost $3.14.
