A team of local craftsmen are helping some of the victims injured in the Waukesha Christmas parade crash.
A volunteer crew is building a handicap-accessible ramp at the home of the Perez family.
The mother, Romelia, was struck during the parade and will need a wheelchair when she’s released from the hospital.
Her 11-year-old daughter, Camila, suffered a fractured femur and head injuries and is at a different hospital.
Contractor Brock Held offered his services and building the ramp for the Perez family was their first project.
The materials were donated.
