More details are coming out about the attempted robbery of an Outagamie County McDonalds last week.
42-year-old Melissa Mann has been charged with Attempted Armed Robbery and is being held on a $50,000 cash bond for the incident.
Mann, who was recently fired from the restaurant, had reportedly gone to the Greenville McDonald’s on November 16th and ordered a soda at the drive-thru.
Once she got up to the window, she brandished a gun, which was later determined to be a CO2-powered BB gun, and demanded all the money in the till.
The employee left the window area to get another employee to open the drawer, but by the time they got back, Mann was gone.
During her arrest, Mann admitted to police that she chose to rob that store because “she knew the employees and managers don’t care and don’t pay attention.”
Mann is due back in court on December 9th for her preliminary hearing.
