Crime scene investigators spent a good portion of their weekend going through an apartment searching for evidence after a double-fatal shooting Saturday morning.
Authorities say a 29-year-old man and 24-year-old woman were killed on the city’s northwest side.
Officers were called to the apartment just before 10:15 a-m.
A 29-year-old shooting suspect was taken into custody.
Police haven’t released the names of the people who were involved.
Family memberssay the female victim had recently given birth.
Police say criminal charges are being referred to the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office.
