An armed robbery in Fond du Lac is currently under investigation.
The incident occurred at the Kohl’s Department Store located at 913 W. Johnson Street at around 5:30 Sunday afternoon.
Police reports indicate two men entered the store, and one of them, armed with a hammer, began to smash the jewelry display cases.
As officers were en route to the store, bystanders were able to detain one of the suspects, while the other got away.
The 29-year-old suspect was taken to the police department, while the other suspect was seen running north.
He is described as a Hispanic male with a medium build and was last seen wearing a yellow and green traffic vest, and dark pants.
