A Green Bay man is in police custody after it was learned that he was trading homemade, 3D printed guns for Methamphetamine.
The Brown County Sheriff’s Department learned of the operation during an investigation into drug trafficking.
28-year-old Mitchell Guerrero would create these so-called “ghost guns” in a workshop in his basement, and trade them for an ounce of meth, according to police reports.
Guerrero is already a convicted felon, so it is illegal for him to possess a firearm, not to mention manufacture them.
A search of his home in the 800 block of Bader Street also uncovered a stolen shotgun, some cash, and more than 2,7000 rounds of ammunition.
Guerrero is facing nine charges, including Possession of Meth, THC, and a Firearm as a convicted felon, Carrying a Concealed Knife, and Maintaining a Drug Trafficking Place.
He is being held on a $50,000 cash bond as the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) has joined the investigation.
