In an attempt to battle the homeless problem, a new transitional living facility is coming to Oshkosh.
The facility will be located on a site that was formerly part of Father Carr’s Place 2B.
The shelter will be operated by COTS, an organization in the Fox Valley that was founded in 1998 by the late Father Orville Janssen.
The facility was purchased mainly through donated funds as the Oshkosh community continues to address the homeless situation.
It is anticipated that the new facility will be up and running by the end of January.
