Members of the Kenosha County jury resume deliberations in the trial for Kyle Rittenhouse this morning (November 17th).
A big part of their job is to determine if the Illinois teenager is a “wanna-be soldier” who went looking for trouble or a concerned citizen who came under attack while he was trying to protect property during last year’s riots.
If he is convicted on the top charges, Rittenhouse would spend the rest of his life in prison.
He’s accused of shooting three men in Kenosha streets, killing 36-year-old Joseph Rosenbaum and 26-year-old Anthony Huber.
The shooting happened in late August of 2020 while hundreds protested the police shooting of Jacob Blake.
