A doctor is supporting the plea entered by a man accused of stabbing two people in Green Bay earlier this year.
23-year-old Wesley Brice entered a plea of not guilty by reason of mental disease or defect on nine charges, including 1st Degree Intentional Homicide in connection to the March 15th incident.
A 17-page report was provided to the court by the doctor who conducted a psychiatric evaluation of Brice and said that at the time of the attack the suspect was in a state of methamphetamine-induced psychosis.
The defense has asked for time to discuss a possible resolution to the case with the prosecution, so no trial date was set.
Brice will return to court on December 21st for a status update.
