Oregon police say the man who shot a woman and killed a dog last week has died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
No names have been released.
The 29-year-old woman was hospitalized but has been released.
She was shot just before 8:00 a-m November 8th at an Oregon apartment.
Investigators say they think the 28-year-old man and the victim had been in a domestic relationship.
Officers reported hearing gunshots as they drove up to the scene.
A second dog in the apartment was rescued by animal control officials.
