There are two meetings on the calendar for today in Manitowoc.
First up is the Committee of the Whole, who will convene in the Council Chambers at 5:00 PM.
After the public is given time to comment, the Committee will look over an ordinance that would limit the amount of time cars can be parked in City Lots and the proposed transfer of the Waste Water Treatment facility over to MPU.
Then, at 6:30 PM, the full Common Council will occupy the Council Chambers, where they will start by swearing in a new police officer, K9 Mali.
The Council will also look over a couple of payment reports from the Board of Public works regarding a sewer project, and the installation of garage doors onto the concessions stand at Silver Creek Park.
Then in a closed session, the Council will look over several claims regarding flood damage and rain damage to homes before returning to an open session to continue their review of the 2022 Executive Budget.
