The 33-year-old Milwaukee man accused of shooting three Wauwatosa police officers has made his initial court appearance.
Kenneth Burney is charged with three counts of attempted first-degree intentional homicide.
Police were called to the Radisson Hotel Saturday when a caller reported shots had been fired.
When no one answered the door in room 221, a battering ram was used.
That’s when Burney opened fire and the officers were wounded.
They are expected to recover.
Police think somebody other than the suspect fired the shots that were reported before officers arrived.
