Kenosha County Judge Bruce Schroeder says closing arguments in the Kyle Rittenhouse trial could be given Monday.
The defense rested Thursday after calling witnesses for two-and-a-half days.
Prosecutors called one rebuttal witness.
Rittenhouse told the jury he was defending himself from attacks and he had no choice when he shot three men last year.
Two of them died during the protests against racial injustice in Kenosha.
Rittenhouse said he drove 20 miles from his home in Antioch, Illinois to protect property after rioters set fires and looted businesses on previous nights.
