Officials with the Spooner School District confirm that 44 people received medical treatment after a chemical odor forced the evacuation of the middle school Wednesday.
Witnesses say it smelled like epoxy.

24 students and 20 staff members were transported to hospitals for help.
Classes were canceled while the source of the odor is sought.
District officials say the middle school will be reopened when it is safe to do that.
