There is only one meeting scheduled for today in the City of Manitowoc.
The Finance Committee will convene in the Council Chambers at 5:00 PM and will start by giving the public time to voice their comments.
Then, after looking over some financial reports for the 3rd quarter, the Committee will review Mayor Justin Nickels’ proposed 2022 executive budget.
After a full review of the budget, they will review several flooding and sewer backup claims submitted by residents, and a claim of a violation of the illegal search and child removal.
That individual is looking to receive $100,000 from the city. All of those claims will also be discussed in a closed session.
This is the final meeting for the week in the Clipper City.
The Manitowoc Public Library’s Board was scheduled to hold a special meeting as well, but that meeting was canceled.
