A Manitowoc man is facing life imprisonment after he was found guilty in a 2017 shooting case.
A jury found 47-year-old Dajuan B. Deshazer guilty of 1st Degree Intentional Homicide.
The criminal complaint states that police were dispatched to a home in the 700 block of South 15th Street on May 19th, 2017, on a report of a 44-year-old man who had been shot multiple times.
A witness to the shooting said they saw a black man with dreadlocks approach the man as he was getting items from his car and shooting the victim multiple times at close range.
The victim was reportedly going to testify against Deshazer in an upcoming narcotics trial.
Deshazer will be sentenced on January 3rd in Manitowoc County Circuit Court but is being held in the Winnebago County Jail.
