There are two meetings scheduled for this afternoon in Manitowoc, and a series of them this morning.
The MPU Commission will take part in a series of meetings with the Great Lakes Utilities starting at 10:00 this morning.
The first is regarding the Rice Project, which will be followed by a meeting regarding the Power Supply Project.
The final meeting will be with the Board of Directors where the budget will be discussed.
Then, at 3:15 PM, the Police and Fire Commission will convene in the Public Safety Building.
After the public is given time to voice their comments, the Commission will look over the Police Department’s detective promotion eligibility list.
Closing out the day will be the Municipal Tree Commission, who will be in the 1st Floor Conference Room in City Hall at 4:30 PM.
The public will be given time to voice their input before the group receives an update on the forestry fund and any urban forestry grant opportunities.
