The offense wasn’t able to put points on the board until less than five minutes were remaining in the game.
Green Bay’s winning streak ends at seven in a row.
Backup quarterback Jordan Love looked uncertain while completing 19-of-34 passes 190 yards, an interception, and a late-game scoring pass to Allen Lazard.
Head coach Matt LaFleur took responsibility for the loss, saying he didn’t come up with a good enough game plan to beat the struggling Chiefs.
The loss wasted a good defensive effort that saw Kansas City limited to 237 total yards.
Green Bay hosts Seattle next Sunday.
