The Badgers men’s hockey team had to settle for a split of the weekend home series against their Border Battle rivals, the Minnesota Golden Gophers.
Minnesota scored the first three goals on the way to a 4-1 win Saturday at the Kohl Center.
The only Wisconsin score came on Roman Ahcan’s power-play goal 51 seconds into the second period.
The Badgers outshot the visitors 38-to-28.
Wisconsin’s next action is on the road at Notre Dame, with games Friday and Saturday.
