
A 33-year-old man is facing charges in connection to a shooting on the Southside of Manitowoc yesterday (November 4th).
Officers were dispatched to investigate the incident in the 1200 block of South 20th Street.
The target of the attack identified the man who shot at him from his Facebook profile while officers located two spent 9mm shell casings.
The victim also said that the two men had been in a verbal altercation at the Marathon gas station on Washington Street, which was confirmed by surveillance footage.
Other surveillance footage from a home on Hamilton Street showed that the shooting occurred just after 6:30 PM.
When officers went to the last known address of the suspect, he was not there, but his uncle was.
He also confirmed the verbal altercation occurred.
Charges of Possession of THC, and Drug Paraphernalia, Reckless Endangerment, and being a Felon in Possession of a Firearm have been filed based on evidence found in his car, which was parked at his home.
