Madison’s Edgewood High School will look to the courts to keep its undefeated football season going.
The Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association turned down an appeal of a ruling that forced the school’s football team to forfeit all of its games this season.
The case goes before a Dane County judge this morning.
The W-I-A-A determined that the Crusaders used an ineligible player in its games after telling the school Cam Fane was eligible last March.
If the judge doesn’t rule in Edgewood’s favor, Kewaskum will meet Columbus Saturday in the next round of the state football playoffs.
